AUDIO AND
VIDEO STREAMING FOR THE WWW
This advanced course facilitates the creative use of the audio and video technologies for the World Wide Web. The course assignments include conceptual development, production assignments, discussions and critique. Students learn skills to tackle all stages of streaming media processes, and more importantly, they acquire a discipline of thought that encourages a vigorous planning both for "live" and "on-demand" streaming. The following issues are raised: NOTE: The featured websites are quite large and few of them do reside on the external servers. Please have Internet connection present to enjoy the viewing of the entire project. Appropriate plug-ins such as Shockwave and RealPlayer are required.
